All photos below are generic licensed photos sourced from Wikimedia Commons (and one free Mixkit video for the homepage hero) (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC0 or US-government public domain), downloaded locally, cropped/resized and converted to WebP (each under 200 KB). None shows James Transportation's own trucks, drivers or team, and none is an intermodal/ocean container. They are placeholders. Each image was viewed before use to check for intermodal containers, people and prominent third-party brands; incidental small markings may remain in the originals.

<!-- 2026-10-11 (r142): photos have no visible captions or labels on the site; attribution lives here (footer "Photo credits" link). Files renamed stock-* -> photo-*. The three archived files (dryvan-highway, highway-doubles, dock-reefer) are not used or deployed; their rows stay below for the record. TODO(owner): replace with real JT photos (with permission), then update this file. -->

Licenses: CC BY requires attribution (below). CC BY-SA also requires that any *adapted image* be shared under the same license; the resized/cropped files here are adaptations and are offered under the same license as their source. CC0 and US-government works carry no attribution requirement (credited here anyway). This does not change the license of the website's own text or code.

## Owner-supplied photos
`team-james.webp` (James Wilson, Co-Founder and Owner), `team-thomas.webp` (Thomas Strang, Co-Founder and CEO), `team-chris.webp`, `team-rob.webp`, `team-melanie.webp`: staff photos supplied by the owner for the About page "Meet the team" section (cropped to 600x600 face-centered, WebP; plain crops, no background blur on any photo). Photo permission from each person still to be confirmed by the owner (see the OWNER TO CONFIRM comment in about.html).

Source mapping (owner attachments): james = 3941fd62...jpg; thomas = 8f2578a5...jpg; chris = 1bd09a44...jpg (replaced the earlier 2c28617d...jpg, now in _unused-photos/); rob = 7ce4a5d8...jpg; melanie = 4a7c55fa...jpg. Crops are centered on the detected face; see screenshots/team-contact-sheet.png.

`_unused-photos/old-chris-crop-2c28617d-maybe-Ben-or-Cam.webp`: the earlier crop used for Chris, which the owner says is NOT Chris. It may be Ben Lynch or Cam Simpson (unknown); not used on the site and not deployed.
